Look no further for the perfect pasta salad for those get togethers this summer. It's simple and delicious and can be prepared with many variations.
6 oz. elbow pasta, uncooked
2 medium tomatoes, diced with their juices
1/4 red onion (or green onion), finely chopped
1/4 c. Hellmann's light (or regular) mayonnaise
1 T. white vinegar
garlic powder, to taste
1 t. dry oregano
2 1/2 oz. sliced black or Kalamata olives, sliced
salt and pepper, to taste
Cook pasta in well salted boiling water according to package directions;
drain; rinse under cold water to stop cooking process.
In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, vinegar, tomatoes with their juices, black olives, onion, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper; stir well; add pasta; stir well.
