Patriotic Red, White and Blue Mocktail

Gatorade Zero, Glacier Cherry

Fill a tall glass completely to the top with ice cubes. If wanting to use a straw, it’s best to insert it in the glass before pouring in the liquids, or the straw will disturb the layering process.
Pour the Mountain Dew over the ice, filling the glass a little over 1/3 full. Very slowly pour the Gatorade Zero Glacier Cherry over the Mountain Dew, filling the glass about 2/3 full. If the Gatorade pours too quickly, it will mix into the Mountain Dew. A trick to help pour slowly is to hold a spoon with the backside facing up across the glass and pour the Gatorade over the back side of the spoon. This will help it slowly trickle into the glass, and keep it from mixing with the Mountain Dew.
Pour the V8 slowly over the Gatorade. The V8 will slowly begin to fall until it layers right on top of the Mountain Dew. The Gatorade moves to the top, creating a fun patriotic drink everyone will enjoy.

*Tip: Other flavored drinks can be used to make this as well. The trick is to make sure the sugar content is quite a bit different. The heavier sugar content drink will sit at the bottom of the glass better and the less sugar content sits at the top.
