If you want a dessert that's easy and quick to prepare, this is it. But best of all, it's so creamy and delicious, you will get lots of requests for the recipe.
32 Oreo cookies, crushed (don't remove the creamy centers)
5 T. butter, melted
8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
1 c. powdered sugar
3/4 c. creamy peanut butter
1 bag Butterfinger Minis Chocolate Candy, 10.8 oz. (Pack of 6), crushed
16 oz. Cool Whip, divided
5.9 oz. box instant chocolate pudding mix
2 c. whole milk
In a medium bowl, stir crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter together. Transfer to a 9X13 inch baking dish; press firmly on the bottom; place in refrigerator.
Use an electric mixer to beat cream cheese; gradually add powdered sugar; beat in peanut butter. Fold in 1 c. Cool Whip. While still in their wrappers, crush the 6 mini Butterfinger candy bars; fold into peanut butter mixture. Spread peanut butter mixture evenly over the crust.
In a medium bowl, whisk together instant pudding mix and 2 c. milk; let sit to thicken for a minute or 2; pour over peanut butter layer.
Spread remaining Cool Whip on top. Crush remaining Butterfingers and sprinkle on top.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
