Description

Celebrate the holiday season with fun cookie bars. They are easy and quick to make and so festive.

Ingredients

• 1 c. unsalted butter, at room temperature
• 1 c. light brown sugar, packed
• 1/2 c. granulated sugar
• 2 large eggs, at room temperature
• 2 t. vanilla extract
• 3 c. flour
• 1 t. baking soda
• 1 t. salt
• 1 c. Christmas M & M’s, divided
• 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
• 1/3 c. green and red sprinkles, divided

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9x13 baking dish with parchment paper.
2. Using a mixer and a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar; mix in eggs and vanilla until combined.
3. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt; gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in about 3/4 of the M & M's, 3/4 of the chocolate chips and 3/4 of the sprinkles.
