Description
This zesty pasta salad with tortellini, bacon and fresh vegetables will become one of your favorite side dishes. It could also be served as a main dish.
Ingredients
- 20 oz. package refrigerated tortellini, your favorite
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 medium zucchini, diced
- 1 large cucumber, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 large red onion, diced
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Dressing:
- 1 c. Italian salad dressing, your favorite
- 1/4 - 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 T. sesame seeds
- 1 t. paprika
- 1/2 t. celery seed
- 1/4 t. garlic powder
Steps
- Cook pasta according to package directions, about 4-6 minutes; drain; rinse in cold water; drain again.
- Add tomatoes, zucchini, cucumber, bell peppers, onion, and bacon to a large bowl.
- Dressing: Whisk together salad dressing, cheese, sesame and celery seeds, paprika, and garlic powder.
