Ice Cream Sandwich Cake

Description

Kids and adults will all love this simple to make, no-bake dessert. It's a crowd pleasing treat to serve for holiday get togethers.

Ingredients

24 ice cream sandwiches
16 oz. frozen Cool Whip, thawed in the refrigerator
chocolate syrup
caramel syrup
choice of toppings: mini M&M’s, sprinkles, crushed Oreo cookies, toffee bits, chopped nuts, chopped candy bars, chocolate chips, etc.

Layer 12 ice cream sandwiches in the bottom of a 9" x 13" dish; cut the last ice cream sandwich in half to fit.

Let soften for a few minutes; use a spoon to gently press the ice cream sandwiches down a bit, but can be skipped if using a very deep dish.

Spread half of the Cool Whip over the ice cream sandwiches. Drizzle with chocolate and caramel syrups. Sprinkle on desired toppings.

Add another layer of 12 ice cream sandwiches. Spread remaining Cool Whip over the ice cream sandwiches. Drizzle with more chocolate and caramel syrups. Sprinkle with more toppings.

Freeze for about 1-2 hours up to overnight to give the cake time to firm up.

Serve.

* Tip: Wrap tightly with plastic wrap or foil to keep in the freezer up to 1 week.
