Description

This yummy cake takes about 10 minutes to assemble and 1 hour to chill, so it's a great last minute dessert to serve or take when you have little time. Be prepared for everyone to ask for the recipe, it's so good.

Ingredients

• 16 oz. fresh strawberries, divided
• 9 Twinkies, unwrapped
• 3.4 oz. box instant vanilla pudding
• 1 1/2 c. whole milk
• 8 oz. whipped topping, thawed

Steps

1. Wash strawberries and discard hulls. Dice 3 or 4 strawberries into small pieces, making about 1/3 to 1/2 c. diced berries; set aside. Slice remaining berries into 1/4 thick slices; set aside.
2. Place Twinkies in the bottom of an 8×8 baking/casserole dish.
3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and whole milk for 3 minutes or until thickened. Spread the vanilla pudding evenly over the twinkies in the baking/casserole dish.
