There is absolutely no possum in this possum pie. It's a no-bake delicious dessert that's a creamy delight with layers of vanilla and chocolate pudding, pecans, and whipped cream all on a graham cracker crust.
6 oz. cream cheese, softened
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 - 9 inch graham cracker crust
1/4 c. chopped pecans
1 3/4 c. cold whole milk
3/4 t. vanilla extract
1/4 c. instant vanilla pudding mix
1/3 c. instant chocolate pudding mix
1/2 c. heavy whipping cream, whipped, for serving
12 - 16 pecan halves or shaved chocolate, for garnish
In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Spoon into crust. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
In a bowl, whisk the milk, vanilla and both pudding mixes for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set. Spoon over the pecans.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Served, topped with whipped cream and garnished with pecan halves or shaved chocolate.
