This sweet chocolate and salty treat is truly addicting. It feeds a crowd, so it's perfect for a large party or to give as gifts.
6 c. Rice Chex cereal
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1 c. dry brownie mix or 1 c. powdered sugar mixed with 1 1/2 T. cocoa powder*
12 oz. Christmas M&M’s
2 c. mini peanut butter cups
2 c. pretzel twists
Pour the cereal into a large bowl.
In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate chips and peanut butter; microwave in 30 second intervals until melted; stir until smooth.
Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal, using a spatula to gently toss the cereal until completely coated.
Pour the brownie mix in a sealable gallon sized plastic bag; add the chocolate coated cereal. Seal the bag; shake until the cereal is coated in the brownie mix.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Spread the cereal out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet; cool completely until dry.
Combine the cooled cereal, M&M’s, peanut butter cups and pretzel twists.
Serve.

*If you don’t want to use a brownie mix, substitute it with powdered sugar mixed with cocoa powder.
