These cute little Rice Krispie chicks are fun to make with your kiddos for Easter or springtime. They can first serve to decorate your Easter table and then be served as a dessert.

Ingredients

• 6 c. Rice Krispies cereal
• 15 oz. marshmallows
• 3 T. softened butter, at room temperature
• yellow food coloring
• 2 c. orange candy melts
• large candy eyes
• non-stick cooking spray

Steps

1. Grease a 9x13 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray.
2. In a large microwave safe bowl, heat the marshmallows with the softened butter; heat for 1-2 minutes until the marshmallows get puffy.
3. Mix in several of the food coloring in the marshmallow mixture; mix in the cereal.
