THE DAY GOD ANSWERED MY PRAYER… BUT NOT THE WAY I EXPECTED
For months, I kept praying for the same thing.
“God, please open this door for me.”
It was the opportunity I believed would change my life. I prayed about it every day. I fasted. I believed with all my heart that it would happen.
But when the answer finally came…
It was no.
The door closed.
I felt confused. Disappointed. Even a little hurt.
“God, why would You allow this after all my prayers?” I asked.
For a while, I didn’t understand.
But life kept moving.
A few months later, something unexpected happened.
Another opportunity appeared—one I had never even imagined before.
It was bigger. Better. And it placed me exactly where I needed to be.
Looking back, I finally understood something powerful.
If God had answered my prayer the way I wanted…
I would have missed something far greater.
That day I learned a lesson I will never forget:
Sometimes God answers your prayer not by saying yes…
but by protecting you with a better plan.
