Today is the day I became a father 16 years ago. If you were around back then, then you knew I was just a kid having a kid. I was a high school dropout after 12 high schools w/ a criminal record.  my parents had me when they were in high school so the road was definitely familiar. Though time has passed the job is nowhere near over, it’s barely beginning. I’ve learned that even when my son has a son one day the duties never end because there’s so many questions and things I need help with and I don’t have my father for that. Thankfully, God blessed my family with an amazing stepfather because even though I know the blessing of getting to be a father is never over im glad I have a daily example for myself and my son. I’m not the best father I’ve definitely made mistakes that have led my son to make his own but I’ll be trying to make up for it till the day that I’m gone. Out of everything I’ve accomplished in life, loving you and your siblings was the best thing that could’ve ever happened to me I love you to the moon and back ♥️
