Recently, CW, the studio behind “Arrow”, announced that the Flash will appearing on show’s three episodes, with Glee’s Grant Gustin on the role.

There are no clarifications yet as to how the Scarlet Speedster’s story will interact with the Emerald Archer’s saga, but one thing is for sure, CW is planning to give the Flash its own series.

The story will focus on Barry Allen, the second Flash, and will appear on “Arrow”’s second season, particularly eighth and ninth episode, and will return on the twentieth, which will be used as the backdoor pilot for the hero’s own series.

Since Arrow was aired on October 22, 2012, this will be the first time the series will feature a super powered character, which rely heavily on vigilantes and street level criminals and gangs for its heroes and villains.
