Allegedly, several youngsters were camping out in the backyard of a McKinney, Tx. home. There was a fire going in an open fire pit. The children had been sprinkling gasoline on the fire, when one of them left the gas can too close to the fire. There was an explosion and several of the kids were burned. At least three, have been listed in critical condition. CareFlight was called to the scene and airlifted a few of the injured children to Parkland Hospital. It is not clear if there was adult supervision on site or how the kids were in possession of the gasoline. Especially, since it has been reported that two children were only four years old and another only five.
