Zachary Quinto showed up on the red carpet outside Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards tonight (April 14).

The “Star Trek” star got all gussied up for the momentous occasion and wore it well as he made his way through the gaggle of fans and shutterbugs.

Always a memorable occasion, the MTV Movie Awards will be hosted by “Pitch Perfect” starlet Rebel Wilson, so literally anything can happen.

This year, "Django Unchained" and "Ted" lead the pack with seven nominations, while "Silver Linings Playbook" follows with six. "The Dark Knight Rises" has five nods and "The Avengers," "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," "Pitch Perfect," and "Skyfall" each have four.
