Samuel L. Jackson says that he's up for a Nick Fury movie if Marvel wants him to, but he also said that the decision entirely rests with Marvel and Disney executives. Still Jackson is looking forward to the Avengers sequels and the second installment is already in motion with a release date set on 2015 and him reprising his role and he doesn't mind if Marvel will make the decision after the Avengers run.
Nick Fury is a former Vietnam war veteran who later became the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. which is an intelligence organization formed by an international committee of several governments to facilitate the protection of Earth from alien threats. Fury's father Jack also served with Captain America/Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) back in WWII and so his story intertwines with some of the other Marvel characters also, which will make a Nick Fury film quite interesting to see.
