Checking some items off of her to-do list, Amanda Bynes was out and about in New York City on Wednesday (4/3/2013).

Donning a low key pair of black sweats and a fur lined hooded jacket, the "What I Like About You" actress ran her errands, all the while keeping her hand to her mouth and her cell phone held up to eye level, much to the puzzlement of passers by.

Though Ms.Bynes celebrates her 27th birthday today, she strolled the city alone as she headed to the bank and stopped off at a few other establishments along the way.

On Tuesday the birthday girl, who is known for her often strange tweets, took to Twitter to dispel rumors that she dyed her blonde hair magenta and that a photo of a woman who looks just like the actress was not her.

The tweet, which has since been deleted proclaimed, "My hair is blonde, I've never been a redhead! Somebody keeps posing as me! Check my photos on Twitter for up to date pictures!"

A second tweet pointed out the discrepancies between her and the person in the snapshot. "Fake or real microdermals, same glasses! I don't own those clothes and I'm blonde! Haha!"
