It was only a matte of time before Amanda Bynes took to Twitter to proclaim her innocence after her Thursday arrest.

On Friday evening (May 24), Amanda told her followers “I only smoke tobacco I don’t drink or do drugs. I’ve never had a bong in my life! I need to get another nose job after seeing my mugshot! :D."

On Thursday, the "Easy A" actress was taken into custody by the NYPD after she allegedly tossed a bong out the window of her thirty sixth floor Manhattan residence.

Meanwhile, neighbors of Ms. Bynes described her behavior as increasingly erratic in the past several months. "She just stares at people. Her eyes look really messed up. It's very clear to me that she's not just smoking pot," the neighbor told People.
