On looking to the future: “I’m ready for audiences to see me like this. I’ve acted for so long now, and there’s so much more I want to do. I’m all about pushing myself and taking myself out of my comfort zone. High School Musical was a life-changing experience and I’m so proud to have been a part of this big, positive thing that inspired a lot of people.”

On her family ties: “My parents didn’t really like the whole acting thing at first. Growing up, it really was more of a privilege to go on auditions. It was something that I always wanted, but the deal was that I ha to do well in school, and then I could go audition.”

On her bucket list: “There’s plenty of things I still want to accomplish professionally. But I also want to do other things like go shark diving!”

Ashley is also pictured with boyfriend Christopher French heading to lunch at Fresh Corn Grill on Thursday afternoon (April 18) in West Hollywood, California.
