Beyoncé and Jay-Z Seek to Trademark "Blue Ivy Carter"

Beyonce and Jay-Z: After failing to trademark "Blue Ivy" the first time around, Beyonce and Jay-Z have applied to register "Blue Ivy Carter" as a trademark.

Back in January 2012, the power couple originally tried to register the name, but found that Boston wedding planner Veronica Alexander used the name "Blue Ivy" for her company since 2009.

However, this time around their application for "Blue Ivy Carter" is still pending, and they have three years to prove that they are using the trademark for various purposes like baby product ads and music.

Recently, the pair have ruffled feathers for their controversial trip to Cuba to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary.
