Bill Hader been cracking audiences up since 2005, but sadly he has decided he’ll retire from “Saturday Night Live” this season.

Bill Hader just made the announcement, and his final episode will be on next Saturday’s season finale.

Hader told the New York Times, “It was a hard decision, but it has to happen at some point. It got to a point where I said, ‘Maybe it’s just time to go.’”

During his tenure, Bill developed a plethora of beloved characters such as Weekend Update correspondent Stefon, as well as unforgettable impressions of James Carville and Al Pacino.
