Chapter 2 part 2 but it wasn't meant to be. Their own daughter had been struggling with the idea of sharing her parents, and my sister was sent away, leaving behind a trail of tears and unanswered questions.
The pain of rejection is a hard pill to swallow, and my sister was sent away, a wound that would take time to heal. But my adopted parents held on to hope, a flame that flickered bright in the darkness. They continued to be there for their friends, and for the people in their community.
Months went by, and life moved on, but the memory of my sister's rejection lingered. My adopted father, need a skilled mechanic, to fixing he car, That's when he saw her, my birth mother, standing in a small mechanic shop, her eyes filled with a deep sadness.
As he walks in the house he couldn't help but notice the little child she was carrying, a tiny bundle of joy with eyes that sparkled like diamonds. He felt an inexplicable connection to the child, a sense of belonging that he couldn't explain. He looked at my mother, his heart overflowing with compassion, and asked, "Why don't you give me this child? You seem to be struggling, and I promise to love and care for her as my own."
My birth mother's eyes filled with tears as she looked at him, her voice cracking with emotion. "How can I give you this child?" she asked, her words barely above a whisper. "The father is in jail, and I'm left to suffer the consequences. Do you think I'm a dog, to give away my puppies like they're nothing? Do you think I can just hand over my child, my heart, my everything, to someone else?"
