He’s been a busy boy plugging his new flick “Star Trek Into Darkness” as of late, and yesterday (May 16) Chris Pine paid a visit to the "Ellen DeGeneres Show."

The handsome blue-eyed hunk chatted with Ellen about his preferences when it comes to deciding who he’ll date.

DeGeneres asked, "What would you be looking for when you are looking for a woman?" Chris replied, “I don't know. I think anything that any normal man would be looking for: intelligence, beauty and a sense of humor. . . You have to be able to carry a conversation after the initial attraction kind of dies down."
Ellen also explored the topic of Chris’ fan club after Pine confessed, "My fans have designated themselves the Pine Nuts."
As she pulled out a pair of yellow briefs with “I Love My Pine Nuts” written on the front, DeGeneres continued, "Let's talk about your Pine Nuts. What do they do, the Pine Nuts?” Chris shot back, "They're just a nutty bunch!"
