Comic Con, it is the place where fan boys’ dreams are realized. DC Comics announced, through Zack Snyder, its plans for a Superman-Batman crossover. But Marvel will not be obscured on the dark corner, it also pack its own guns. Heading it is its announcement for Avengers: Age of Ultron for 2015, the sequel for the Marvel superhero crossover that earned more than 1 billion dollars two years ago.

As the title hints, the superhero team will be fighting the evil robot, Ultron. This announcement might go head on and debacle fans’ hopes that the superhero team will be duking out against Thanos, who was shown in the Avengers post-credits scene. Thanos will the villain for the Guardians of the Galaxy slated for 2014.

Another let down, also is that Hank Pym, also known as Ant Man, Giant Man, and Yellow Jacket will not be in this film. Fans will know that Pym’s role is crucial for the character of Ultron, as he is the creator of the menacing robot.

When asked how this plot will stand without Pym, Avengers director Joss Whedon said in an interview with Gawker Media publication, “We don’t have to have him. It works very simply -- this is Marvel cinema, not Marvel comics. One thing [Marvel Studios head] Kevin Feige has a genius for is knowing what to hold onto and what to let go of. You can invoke the feeling you had and play with the characters you love and remain true to the needs of the film.” Ultimately, Whedon said, “You don’t need a Pym to create an Ultron.”

But it is not all sad news for Ant Man fans, As “Shaun of the Dead” director Edgar Wright is already tasked to helm the Ant Man film slated for 2015, though he will not have anything to do with Ultron this time.
