Disney has recently released some photos of early concept art for the upcoming "Beauty and the Beast" and we finally have a glimpse of what could be Belle's "peasant clothing." Belle's iconic look has been given a modern take. Her hair is now fully down and less perfect looking. The apron she is wearing looks wider and darker with a gingham design. Instead of a basket, she has wash clothes at her side and her dainty flats were replaced with sturdy looking boots. This is a Belle who looks like she can actually take on a beast!
