It seems that not everything is going well in the lover's paradise.

Emma Watson reportedly broke up with long-time boyfriend William Adamowicz last summer and are no longer contacting one another. This was confirmed officially by a spokesperson of Watson.

The two met at Oxford University on 2011 and have been going strong ever since. There were even talks about an engagement although the questioned never popped. Now it seems that there would be no wedding talks for our brightest witch.

Friends blame her extremely busy schedule as the reason why they broke up, but some think that it was because of the supposed scandal that William faced when a video of him "taking drugs" was posted in his Facebook. He adamantly denied it and Watson didn't comment on it.

Watson is known to have conflicting views about American men and opened up to Ellen during her show.

“Usually in the whole courting situation [in England], I’m used to being first of all, ignored for the first two months of the ritual,” she gushed. “And then maybe they’ll acknowledge my presence. Then, they’ll probably be a little mean to me. And then, maybe we’ll, you know…whatever.”

“Then I arrive in America,” she continued. “And I remember a few nights into Brown [University], this guy just being like, ‘I like you. You’re great. Let’s go on a date. Let’s do it.’

“I’m like, ‘I’m sorry, what just happened?’ This is like a huge culture shock for me.

“They’re very like open and very straight-forward – but they wear flip-flops and I don’t know if I like that.”
