Before computers, the internet, iPads and other gadgets, there was ENDER'S GAME.

According to critics, the book turned to movie has accurately predicted some of the technological advances that we have right now. Ender's Game was published in the year 1985, 17 years before drone warfare actually existed. And yet, the book somehow envisioned that such a thing would be possible.

It was able to predict the internet a full 28 years before it existed and the computer as well.

"The boys who had been so trained by the computer that even when they played against each other they each tried to emulate the computer," the book reads. "Think like a machine instead of a boy."

Just like the modern internet, the book describes the system in the book to be connected to a web of data and has the possibility of sending instant messages much like today is. The students' desks are also high-quality computer-like machines that looks like an iPad.
