Epic Proposal that took 4 Years & 26 Countries to Make

I've never even heard of "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" by The Proclaimers until I saw this epic video by Jack Hyer.

Hyer walked hundreds of miles around the world and spent four years in order to create the perfect proposal video for his girlfriend of four years Becca Strellnauer. Yes, four years ago after they had their first date he already decided he would marry this woman and set out to prepare for the grand day he can propose.

He had to rely on friends, family members and even strangers to take clips of him singing the song.

"Sometimes I didn't have electricity to power my iPod to listen to the lyrics while I sang so I just had to sing it on my own," Hyer said. "I had to cut it and clip it and sometimes slow it down and sometimes speed it up in order to have the lyrics match."

He later showed this video to her during a graduation party (they were college students) and thankfully, she said yes!

"As I said when I proposed to her, the greatest adventure in my life is her and now I want to travel with her as opposed to alone," Hyer said.
