When you mix science with art you get something that is entirely unique and original!

This is what German photographer Martin Klimas did with his latest project of shattering flowers. This photographer is known for his unique way of capturing things breaking apart upon impact. His project entitled "Rapid Bloom" captures colorful exploding flowers when they shatter.

He usually uses complex flowers such as different colored roses for his project. He then puts the flowers in a box with liquid nitrogen to freeze them to approximately minus 326 degrees Fahrenheit.

When he takes them out, they turn so fragile that you can sneeze and they would break. But he uses a different way to break them. He uses an air gun and shoots them from behind to create these beautiful masterpieces! Creativity at its best!
