Be our guest.
Everyone is invited to watch Disney's much anticipated remake of the classic film about a beauty and a beast falling in love with each other. This time, the studio has released its first teaser trailer and we are already falling in love with it.
The trailer doesn't give away much but entices the audience with its beautiful shots (which is what a trailer should really be like). We see the castle of Beast slowly crumble into despair and how his portrait was slashed by a now monstrous Beast (only his growling could be heard). The sets look amazing and the filming is very much reminiscent of that of Cinderella (grand and dramatic) so we can expect so much artistry already.
We also see a glimpse of Belle entering the castle with a furtive "Hello?" called out into the darkness. The voices of Lumiere (Ewan McGregor) and Cogsworth (Sir Ian McKellen) are also heard as they debated whether the girl is "the one." And of course, we get a shot of the beautiful rose and the partially revealed face of Emma Watson as Belle.
The details given to the movie is enough to make us weep but we're also loving the two piano themes used in the trailer (both of which are from the original animated film).
