If you are making a vase, hot glue pencils all the way around a glass jar that is fairly tall and cylindrical. If you are making a pencil holder, a can will work perfectly. Tie a pretty ribbon around it, and you have a wonderful gift for a teacher, mom's or dad's desks, or friends.
