Some say The Great Pyramid of Giza is the most famous “wonder” of the Seven Wonders of the World because it is the oldest and it is also the only one to remain largely intact. The Great Pyramid of Giza is my favorite of the seven world wonders because of its immense size and the miraculously short time period this massive structure was erected in. It still remains today, which is a testament to the truly remarkable engineering of the structure. The measurements are very precise, which is unheard of for the time period. Also, the pyramid is made up of so many extremely heavy limestone blocks that it is a wonder to this day how the workers were able to construct the pyramid.
