I chaired a meeting of the Supervisory Committee of the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Medal and approves the name of the Director General to receive its inaugural edition, following an evaluation process involving 32 participating government entities. The winner will be announced and honoured at the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum 2026, organised by the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development on 23 September.
The Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Medal will be awarded to the best Director-General who empowers and develops second-tier leaders. The sustainability of our government institutions depends primarily on developing strong, capable young leaders across the second and third tiers.
