It seems Zack Snyder is eager to put an end to the Man of Steel franchise.
Following the massive success of the Superman reboot, Zack Snyder and David Goyer are both now reprising their seats as director and writer, respectively, for the upcoming “Man of Steel” sequel, which is now underway pre-production. And when confronted with one of the biggest lingering question out there about the possibility of Doomsday being the next supervillain to stand toe to toe with Superman, Snyder never confirmed nor denied the speculation. An indication that he is really considering the character for the next installment.
As many of the Superman mythology fans will know, Doomsday is the mindless, emotionless murder monster who is famous for being the only enemy to defeat and kill Superman.
Yes, you read it right. A creature was able to kill the unkillable Superman, and Snyder is planning to bring him in the sequel. The “Man of Steel” actor himself, Henry Cavill, is eager to see the villain go up against our Kryptonian hero.
And if they are to have Doomsday, a creature born out of Kryptonian experiment himself, to the big screen, they might as well follow the canon, which is, you know, make Superman dead.
With a myriad of other invincible villains including Bizarro, Darkseid, and even Brainiac to have a chance of getting their hands to Superman, it might really be too early to bring in the guy who finished it all for the Man of Steel.
