DISCLAIMER: OK. To give you a sense of what’s happening here, let me just tell you that every site containing this image has been called to pull it off. Apparently, the studio (you know, the one behind this movie, the Batman films, and that recent “giant robots vs. giant creatures” flick, you get the idea) was not happy with this movie’s crucial development going over the net, so I’ll be writing this article in the oddest way possible to prevent detection.

Yes, it was 2010 when the 2014 remake of Japan’s most famous giant monster has been announced, and right now we haven’t given a single teaser or trailer, except for those who bothered to show up in Comic-Con San Diego. Well yeah, there are posters, but with only abstract concept of the creature. We haven’t got a single glimpse of what it would look like.

Until recently, a blogger from South America (from that country with, you know, the gigantic Jesus statue) released a photo of a promotional poster which revealed the creature’s design. (I won’t mention its name here, to make it less Google-able, just look at the poster's top part, you will get the idea).

From the looks of it, it seems the creative team is reverting back to the old school appearance, instead of a re-imagining like what was done by the hugely panned adaptation in 1998. Yes simple, but original. From the comments going around the Internet, it seems everybody is satisfied with the direction.

It is easy to dismiss the picture as pure speculation, but the fact that the studio behind it was is going around pulling it off, means we actually got a legit info.

As for this article, I only hope this post will last as long.
