I’ve been an entrepreneur for the last 20 years…
Here’s what I’d say to my younger self 👇
1. Feel your fear—and DO IT ANYWAY.
You will never be ready. When I started my first trade I had no experience, no money and was scared of failure, but I took the leap anyway. My kitchen table startup grew to a $5 million dollar portfolio.
2. Focus on Progress over Perfection
I used to have expectations that I had to have the perfect website, perfect pitch, and perfect candidate, which is an impossible way to scale a business. Choose progress over perfection. Get out there and get feedback. You can learn long the way!
3. Dream BIGGER
Thinking back to when I started my first trade , I wish I could tell myself to dream bigger. While caution can be a good thing, don’t let it stop you from reaching your full potential. Allow yourself to dream bigger and reach your greatest potential.
