Aaron Johnson - a post graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania who is finishing his PhD on Robotics has created a rather playful little bot that's capable of walking on 6 limbs. The robot features incredible processor algorithm that enables it to perform other special tricks besides walking, because it can also climb up and down stairs and do a 360 degree back flip that's akin to those tiny Japanese dancing bots. Even though the the robot is at the early stages of its development it is quite impressive and very promising.

Johnson would take the robot out to display it to the public and people are occasionally awestruck at the sight of it. I personally can't wait to see its bigger brother, which is the Sentinel from X-Men: Days of Future Past! But according to anime fans there's a better version of it called the "Gundams," I bet Guillermo Del Torro would disagree as he'll contend that the Jaegers are way way cooler! Whatever the future brings for this lovely machines it will probably be beyond our expectations.
