Prince William and Kate Middleton decided to go a different route from the usual birthing announcements.
Much like the traditional postings of the medical team's signatures outside Buckingham Palace's gates, subsequently the announcement will also hit the social media sites.
After the first sign that the Duchess of Cambridge successfully delievered her child, personnel from Kensington Palace will leave the London hospital with an envelope. They will then pass it along to the palace.
At the same time, the gender of the baby will be revealed. At this point, the couple reportedly has no idea what the baby will be.
Kate will likely give birth at the private Lindo Wing of St. Mary's hospital, where William and Prince Harry were born.
