Wow! Talk about finally wearing such a fabulous crown.
Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, was spotted wearing the lotus tiara that was passed down from one Princess to another. The "Papyrus tiara" also known as the "Lotus tiara," was created by Queen Elizabeth II's mother. It was originally a necklace given by her future husband as a wedding gift. She transformed the necklace into a tiara that would be Princess Margaret's favorite in the future. It was then passed on to Serena Armstrong-Jones, for the 1993 wedding to her son, Viscount Linley.
