Caretaker's Hut is the first stop on most itineraries. From this vantage point up the hill from the main gate, you can gaze down on the ruins and get your bearings. The Temple of the Sun lies in the central area of the citadel near the base of a staircase and features some marvelous Incan stonework. Further below is the Royal Tomb and a series of of ancient aqueducts.
