She's been dealing with a lot of drama as of late, but now Miley Cyrus is pulling the plug on an impending battle.
On Thursday (September 19), upcoming singer Lorde's hit single "Royals" apparently dethroned Miley's "We Can't Stop" on the US itunes chart.
This caused Cyrus' fans to state their feelings in the harshest way possible, by attacking the 16-year-old singer online.
"wo #1 on US itunes. even if it lasts for an hour i feel HAPPY. downside is all these miley fans telling me they're going to stab my rotting corpse," Lorde tweeted.
Within a few hours of Lorde's post, Miley shared her feelings about the situation and her support for the rising singer. "@lordemusic why r people so mean?? Ps your music is awesome."
