Justice Department officials have suggested joining the lawsuit that is ongoing against Lance Armstrong to retrieve the sponsorship money that he accepted from the USPS. The United States Postal Service sponsored Armstrong and the contract specifically was against Armstrong using any performance enhancing drugs. The deadline for the Justice Dept. to join the lawsuit is Thursday, Jan. 17, the same day Armstrong's interview with Oprah is scheduled to air.
