My name is Patrick Biedenkapp, though many know me simply as Pilot Patrick. For me, flying has never been just a job — it’s a lifelong passion that I’m deeply grateful to turn into a bridge between people, places, and stories.

I began flight school at age 20, and after years flying business jets — serving clients from all walks of life — I transitioned to flying the Airbus A300. Today, I work as a commercial pilot and, since 2021, I also train future pilots, passing on both technical skill and the love of aviation.

Parallel to my cockpit life, I’ve built a platform under the name “Pilot Patrick” to share my experiences. Since 2016, I’ve documented travel, flying, and lifestyle through my blog, social media, and most recently, a book.

My goal has always been to make aviation more accessible — to demystify the cockpit, inspire aspiring pilots, and give my followers a genuine look behind the scenes. I don’t present a perfectly glamorous life; I talk about turbulence, jet lag, curious passengers, and what really happens above the clouds.

At heart, I believe in responsibility: as a pilot, as a content creator, and as someone with a platform. Whether I’m landing a plane or posting a photo from 35,000 feet, I want to represent aviation honestly, with respect for its beauty and its challenges.
