NRA closes their Facebook page following the shooting in Newtown, Conn.

National Rifle Association deactivated their Facebook page on Saturday after the awful shooting occurred in Newtown, Conn. on Friday. This is after they had just reached 1.7 million fans earlier in the week. The NRA twitter account has also been silent since the mass shooting. There are many ongoing conversations about guns and gun control on Facebook, Twitter and all social media sites, as would be expected.
