After two days of tweets from Amanda Bynes proclaiming her innocence on her arrest for allegedly throwing a bong out of her Manhattan apartment’s window on Thursday, the NYPD is looking into the troubled actress’s latest claim.

On Saturday, the “Easy A” blonde took to the social media site to accuse a member of the police department of sexual harassment, saying in part that a cop “slapped my vagina” and “lied.”

Now, on Sunday (May 26), the department said they are looking in to the alleged assault.

"As it would with any such allegation, regardless of its credibility, IAB is investigating it," said the NYPD's chief spokesman, Paul Browne, referring to the internal affairs bureau.
