There's no need to go to the restaurant to enjoy this loved side dish. It's easy to prepare with a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time to serve to your loved ones.
Ingredients
- 32 oz. frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
- 3/4 c. melted butter
- 10 oz. can cream of chicken soup
- 1 pint sour cream
- 2/3 c. onion, finely chopped or grated
- 2 c. Colby cheese, grated, divided (or more if desired)
- pinch black pepper
Steps
- Thaw hasbrowns; drain, removing excess moisture.
- Peheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish.
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, reserving about 1/2 c. cheese.
