Description
These soft, thick and chewy chocolate chip cookies are just the thing to serve or bring for Easter. Dress them up to impress everyone with spring colored M&M's and you have the perfect dessert.
Ingredients
- 3/4 c. unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 egg, at room temperature
- 1 T. vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
- 2 t. cornstarch
- 1 t. baking soda
- 1/2 t. salt
- 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. M&Ms, plus more to top the cookie, if desired
Steps
- Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and both sugars together in a large bowl; beat in the egg and vanilla until thoroughly combined.
- Whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
