Description

These soft, thick and chewy chocolate chip cookies are just the thing to serve or bring for Easter. Dress them up to impress everyone with spring colored M&M's and you have the perfect dessert.

Ingredients

• 3/4 c. unsalted butter, at room temperature
• 1 c. brown sugar
• 1/2 c. granulated sugar
• 1 egg, at room temperature
• 1 T. vanilla extract
• 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
• 2 t. cornstarch
• 1 t. baking soda
• 1/2 t. salt
• 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 c. M&Ms, plus more to top the cookie, if desired

Steps

1. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cream butter and both sugars together in a large bowl; beat in the egg and vanilla until thoroughly combined.
3. Whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
