Description
This delicious chicken can be ready for your table in less than 30 minutes. It's easy to make with just a few ingredients that you may already have on hand. Serve it with a side of angel hair pasta or spaghetti.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or 4 thin chicken cutlets)
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 t. garlic powder
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/4 t. freshly ground black pepper
- 2 T. butter
- 1 T. olive oil
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- 1/4 c. dry white wine, optional
Steps
- Lay each breast flat on a cutting board; very carefully split each breast in half horizontally to create 2 thin cutlets.
- Beat the egg in a shallow dish.
- In another dish, combine the flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
