1/2 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. granulated sugar or powdered sugar, depending on the baked or unbaked version
1 3/4 c. pretzel crumbs, about 3 to3 1/2 c. mini pretzels

Baked:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9" pie pan.

Crush pretzels into fine crumbs using a food processor or rolling pin.

Mix the pretzel crumbs with sugar and melted butter until well combined.

Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of the pie pan using a spoon or measuring cup.

Bake 10-12 minutes, or until golden and set.

Let cool completely before filling of your choice.

Unbaked:
Crush pretzels into fine crumbs using a food processor or rolling pin.

Mix with powdered sugar (instead of granulated sugar) and melted butter until combined.

Press the mixture evenly into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared 9" pie pan.

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up before adding a filling.

Makes one 9 inch pie crust.
