Description
You'll add this yummy casserole to your meal rotation after serving it just once to your family. It's easy to prepare, is made with many ingredients that you probably already have on hand, and best of all, it's delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 c. chopped mushrooms (fresh or canned)
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 c. raw white rice
- 10.5 oz. can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 2 c. beef broth
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1 t. garlic powder
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese, optional
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13" baking dish.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef, mushrooms, and onion together until beef is browned; discard excess fat.
- In a bowl, combine the beef mixture, raw rice, canned mushroom soup, beef broth, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish; cover with aluminum foil.
